Sunrise Journal

I bought this for my 91 year old mother who is recovering from back surgery. She absolutely loves it! I thought the sunrise was a nice touch because she is getting better with each new day. She said just holding it makes her feel good! This is my first time shopping at Soho Spark but I will definitely buy more from them the quality product, service and even the gift box was first rate.

Beautiful Journal

I just received the sunrise, new day (my description) journal which I’m giving to my sister for Christmas. (I shop early). The box it came in was sturdy and very nice quality and the journal inside, wrapped in a thick tissue paper. I gently slid the book out to get a good look at it and was very impressed with the quality of the leather cover and book/journal itself. This is not a typical blank journal with a nice cover, this is a work of art.

Beautiful binding. Good paper that will stand up to a fountain pen.

I bought this journal because I have a very nice fountain pen I've had for many years but rarely get to use. I use it for signing mortgages and documents that bind me to long commitments. I must have used it on my marriage certificate. Anyway, there are few occasions when I can use it because paper these days won't stand up the the ink flowing from the pen. That is not the case with this journal. The ink doesn't bleed through the page to the next. You do need to let it dry before turning the page. I wonder if SohoSpark might offer a blotter some day. The binding of lovely vegan leather (what the heck is that besides an oxymoron?) looks great and feels much like carnivore leather. This purchase pleases me very much.
